Sarah's Sanctuary
Alternative Education & socialisation programme
It is with a heavy heart that we announce that Sarah’s Sanctuary will close at the end of the first semester for 2023. Sarah has contended with numerous health issues over the past 2 years, which has taken its toll physically, and we feel it is now time for her to retire from teaching to rest and heal. We wish to extend a huge thank you to all our families for their love and support throughout the years, and wish everyone all the best for their future educational endeavours. |
Sarah’s Sanctuary offers alternative part time learning opportunities to support both you and your family on your forced or chosen homeschooling journey!.

testimonialsSarah's Sanctuary has changed my daughter's life! Sarah's warm and welcoming approach; and her program of inclusion and acceptance; has seen a shy, secluded girl evolve into a considerably more confident young woman. - Rikki I never intended to homeschool my 12 year old. But the school system was failing him AND his learning difficulties (dyslexia ). I knew I needed to outsource subjects I simply could not teach, and I had a very reluctant, sad and angry boy. We tried meet up groups and other homeschooling classes, but it was too "babyish" or the structure of trying to include the curriculum wasn't there. I stumbled across Sarah's Sanctuary and believed this would be the last place to try before he gave up...... |
We believe there are no mistakes, just lessons not learnt yet and that we are students and teachers to each other. We believe in being a supportive family and encourage students to build lifelong friendships! - Sarah's Sanctuary
